CyberSecurity Cloud Introduces CloudFastener to Medical IT Company FinMed Corp. for the First Time in the US Market!

Cyber Security Cloud, Inc. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and CEO: Toshihiro Koike; hereinafter "Cyber Security Cloud"), a global security company, is pleased to announce that its fully managed public cloud environment security service "CloudFastener" has been adopted by medical IT company FinMed Corp. (hereinafter "FinMed"). This is the first case of a customer in the US market, and marks an important milestone in accelerating the future expansion of "CloudFastener" in the US market.

■ FinMed's business challenges

FinMed provides services that help improve the efficiency of medical insurance claim processing and revenue for medical institutions. Since May 2024, the company has strengthened its security measures by introducing our public cloud WAF automated operation service "WafCharm". However, while more advanced security measures were required as the business grew, the company also faced an issue of a shortage of in-house security personnel. In addition, there was an urgent need to adapt to increasingly strict laws and regulations.

■ Reasons for introducing CloudFastener

Since FinMed introduced "WafCharm", we have been providing them with prompt response and generous support throughout its operation. As a result, FinMed has highly evaluated our services, and we have been able to build a relationship of trust with FinMed as a business partner that responds promptly to security issues, rather than just as a tool provider.
In order to support FinMed in further strengthening its security, we analyzed the success factors and the points that our customers appreciated based on the performance data of "CloudFastener" in the Japanese market. The U.S. sales and marketing team and the Japanese development and sales team then worked together to thoroughly discuss the value of the offering and localize it to meet the culture, regulations, and needs of FinMed and the U.S. market. As a result, we were able to provide services that better meet the needs of our customers in the U.S. market, and decided to introduce "CloudFastener" as an additional security measure for FinMed.
The introduction is the first step in the full-scale development of "CloudFastener" in the U.S. market, and we will continue to strengthen cooperation between the development and sales teams in Japan and the U.S. to further increase awareness and expand sales.
